Ben and Jackie Foden have revealed their intentions to have another baby as they celebrate daughter Farrah’s first birthday.
Businesswoman Jackie, 36, and rugby star Ben, 35, have openly discussed their hopes to add to their brood in the near future.
The pair – who married just 14 days after being introduced to each other – have been discussing their future plans with Ben saying his wife has “taken to motherhood so well”.
And they are thrilled to be proving doubters wrong after their whirlwind romance saw them get hitched after only two weeks.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Jackie admitted: “We might have another baby next year,” before adding that she can see how much Ben’s kids adore him.
As well as one-year-old Farrah, Ben has Aoife Belle, nine, and Tadhg, six, with his former wife, singer Una Healy.
And while his older kids live in Ireland and he’s stateside, the youngsters have spent time with the family in the US and plan to do so again in the summer.
Ben also revealed that the couple returned to Ireland at Christmas and the kids loved playing with their baby sister. Jackie added that Farrah “lights up” when she is around her brother and sister.
Ben continued to say that another child is always a discussion point for the pair.
Jackie added: “The first pregnancy was really hard on me. I remember breaking down to Ben one night because I was so exhausted.
“Then we had to induce at 37 weeks which turned into a C-section. It was brutal. I’m 36 now, I’d love to have another kid because after having Farrah I see it’s the reason I was put on this planet.”
She described her husband as a “really strong” father who calms her down when she worries and helps out when Farrah is up at night.
And the pair revealed that they see their “forever home” as being in England as Jackie sees Ben’s older kids who are “more well behaved” and she wants that for her children.
However, she doesn’t plan on giving up on her American roots all together and says that the family will also have a home in New York to visit when it’s the school holidays.
