Britney Spears has been spotted wearing what looks like a diamond ring on her engagement finger.
The 39-year-old singer is battling her conservatorship against her father Jamie Spears, and its rules allegedly prevent Britney from marrying again.
She made the explosive claim when speaking in court for the first time last month, at which she also alleged that she is barred from having another baby.
Britney has been dating Sam Asghari since 2016 and he has been a vocal supporter of the #FreeBritney campaign, which is wanting the judge to remove the restrictive conservatorship.
The singer has two sons – Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14 – with ex-husband Kevin Federline but she has claimed that her father forced her to take birth control implants so that she couldn’t have any more children.
MailOnline has shared photos of Britney and fitness trainer Sam, 27, as they headed out for a coffee in Los Angeles on Sunday.
In the pics, Britney is seen wearing what looks like a diamond ring as it sparkled in the Californian sunshine.
She looked in a happier place on the outing than where she was last week, where she was in tears as she told the LA court that she wanted her father charged with conservatorship abuse as she won the right to choose her own lawyer.
Mathew Rosengart has been approved to be appointed as Britney’s lawyer, taking over from Samuel Ingham, who was appointed by the court.
Rosengart is looking to push for an end to the conservatorship that has been in place since 2008, and claimed that he would be filing the relevant paperwork next week.
Britney shared details of some of the situations she had been forced to do because of the conservatorship.
She told the court: “I was on tour in 2018. I was forced to do… My management said if I don’t do this tour, I will have to find an attorney, and by contract my own management could sue me if I didn’t follow through with the tour.”
Britney continued: “He handed me a sheet of paper as I got off the stage in Vegas and said I had to sign it. It was very threatening and scary.
“And with the conservatorship, I couldn’t even get my own attorney.
“So out of fear, I went ahead and I did the tour.”
