And Monday was no exception for Carol Vorderman as she admitted: ‘I love getting up to mischief,’ on the weekday show, Morning Live.
However the BBC One presenter Gethin Jones, 43, was quick to interrupt the former Countdown presenter, 60, in a bid to wrap up the conversation.

‘Maybe for another day. Carol, thank you, or should I say Auntie Carol thank you for all your hard work and we shall see you soon.’
The entertaining comment from Carol came after she joined the show by video call to discuss overcoming homeschooling challenges amid the pandemic and the importance of education.

Carol is frequently praised for her mathematical abilities, as demonstrated on the Channel 4 programme, Countdown, which she appeared on for 26 years from 1982 until 2008.
Aside from presenting on television, the 60-year-old confirmed that mathematics is one of her greatest passions.

‘It’s the most extraordinary time but it’s been very hard and my greatest passion above all things is education,’ she said.
‘It’s something I don’t often talk about but have been very seriously involved with for decades now, particularly Maths because that’s my thing.’
The star even decided to create her own maths course to help children learn online.
Carol continued: ‘Well I have an online Maths school called the Maths Factor for over 10 years now.

‘We decided when the first lock down happened and the schools all closed that we would make it free for everybody.
‘We had over half a million children register and when we began teaching I became Auntie Carol, to half a million children.
‘Almost all, over 96 percent, if you know you’re percentages, you’ll know that’s almost all, of the parents have said their children’s confidence in Maths has improved dramatically.’
She added: ‘Many of them who went back in the last September won medals for maths at school.’
Fellow host Kym Marsh was impressed by her academic aptitude, but was also taken aback by the TV star’s youthful appearance as the asked her what’s the secret to staying on top form at 60.
‘Have you got any top tips for living your best life? I still can’t believe you’re 60. It’s ridiculous,’ Kym, 44, said.
Carol amusingly responded: ‘Gethin knows how old I am don’t you? I’m 37 aren’t I?’ to which the Morning Live host chimed: ‘That’s right, telly age, yes indeed.’
‘I would just say that at 60, I have never felt as free in my life,’ she continued. ‘I don’t have the responsibilities of being a single parent.
‘My mum lived with me for decades, you know I was my mum’s full-time carer. I’m very sad she died a few-years-ago.
‘But I don’t have those responsibilities now and I always say I love getting up to mischief which lock down has put a stop to.’
