Chrissy Teigen has bowed out of an appearance in a Netflix show amid allegations she bullied fellow stars online.

The 35-year-old model, actress and social media star has been engulfed in controversy in recent weeks after past online messages came back to haunt her.

Last month, explosive accusations saw Chrissy being accused of messaging reality star Courtney Stodden when she was just 16-years-old telling her “I can’t wait for you to die” after the then-teen tied-the-knot with Doug Hutchison, when he was aged 50.

It was revealed Chrissy had harassed both 26-year-old Courtney and 61-year-old Doug online – with Chrissy publicly apologising for her past behaviour last month.

Her actions have since cost her some work and endorsement deals, with the star losing a lucrative partnership with American retailer Target since the scandal erupted.

And now it seems she may have also lost work with Netflix as a result.

Variety reports that Chrissy had been due to provide voiceover work in an episode of the Mindy Kaling created comedy series Never Have I Ever.

The show follows the life of a high school teen with celebrity stars featuring on the series to provide voice-over commentary for episodes.

Chrissy had been due to feature in the second season, but a spokesperson for the show told Variety: “the role is expected to be recast.”

While the report also suggests Chrissy herself took the decision to drop out of the planned voice work.

Last month, Chrissy offered an apology to Courtney, writing online: “Not a lot of people are lucky enough to e held accountable for all their past bulls— in front of the entire world.

“I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll.”

However, it has been suggested she cruelly targeted other celebrities including Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham and Lindsay Lohan in the past.
