A statue of Princess Diana is set to be unveiled next month in time for what would have been her 60th birthday.
While both the Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge have been working on the statue since 2017, it is unclear whether both brothers will actually join together for the long-awaited reveal.
Although Harry and Meghan ‘really want to be’ there to witness the special moment, The Mirror’s Royal Editor, Russell Myers said it’s possible that Harry will be forced to skip the statue reveal on July 1 as his second baby is on the way in a matter of weeks.
Sharing his thoughts on the matter during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Russell explained: “The things I’m being told is they still really want to be there, both of them.
“Certainly, William and Kate will be there.
“But whether Harry can fly over there because the baby is imminently due this summer… it will certainly be in the next couple of weeks.”
It comes amid hopes that Prince Harry will return to the UK and mend his ‘deteriorating’ relationship with his brother Prince William while he’s there.
Opening up on the brother’s rumoured tarnished bond, Mr Myers told: “ This is a big deal because the boys – William and Harry – have been working on this statue for quite a long time. And will they, won’t they be seen together?
“It’s been talked about for so many months now, this deteriorating relationship. And the issue is that Harry is expecting a second child – a baby girl on the way – and whether they will attend together or whether they will make separate speeches,” he added.
The speculation about the breakdown of Harry and William’s relationship comes after the Duke of Sussex described his royal family life as “a mix between The Truman Show and being in a zoo” on a podcast with Dax Shephard.

Back in March, Prince Harry and Meghan’s explosive interview with Oprah also saw him say that there was “a lot of hurt” between him and his father.
He went on to say that his father Prince Charles caused him to “suffer” and didn’t “make it right” for him following his mother’s death in 1997.
