Here’s a round-up of next week’s must-see moments:
1. Lauren makes contact with Peter
Ex-EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa recently said she has no plans at present to return to the BBC soap, but her character Lauren is still making an impact from afar.
Out of the blue, Peter gets a call for help from his ex, who reveals she is homeless after a fire at her house.
Lauren needs some dosh but wants nowt to do with her dad Max, who she still blames for the death of her younger sister Abi. Can Peter find a way to help Lauren?
2. Who punched Mick?
Mick has been lost in his own world of hurt these past few weeks and his wife Linda still doesn’t know about his traumatic past.
Linda is shocked when she finds Mick at home with a bruised eye following his time away. Mick claims he was mugged, but it’s unclear whether he’s telling the truth.
As Mick continues to avoid Linda’s questions, will he just push her closer to womaniser Max?
3. Suki and Ian give Tina an opportunity for revenge
Tina and Shirley are plotting to teach Ian a lesson after Tina overheard the boastful businessman slagging off the Carter family during an interview with the Walford Gazette.
Fortunately, Tina has discovered some incriminating information about Ian and Suki. Their dodgy business dealings could be about to land them in a whole lot of trouble.
4. DI Thompson threatens Callum
Police officer Callum is still being blackmailed by dodgy DI Thompson to find incriminating evidence that will bring about the downfall of his partner Ben’s dad Phil.
DI Thompson is aware that Phil was mixed up in the big car robbery. The crooked copper pressures Callum to finally get a result in their investigation against Phil, or else.
5. Peter makes a shock discovery
While snooping about on Ian’s laptop, Peter accidentally discovers his dad’s will. But the barman is shocked when he finds he’s not included in the will but his half-brother Bobby is.
Once again, it stirs up bad blood between the brothers since it’s clear Bobby is still Ian’s favourite son, despite the fact he murdered Peter’s sister Lucy.
6. Kheerat warns Tina
While the rest of Albert Square may be fooled by the solicitor, Kheerat is still waiting for the moment that Chantelle’s abusive husband Gray is exposed as her killer.
Kheerat is alarmed when he hears that homeless Tina has been invited to move in with Gray. He cryptically tries to warn Tina to watch out because smooth-talking Gray is not all he appears. But with nowhere else to stay, will Tina listen?
7. Whitney in danger
There could be more worrying times ahead for Whitney. It wasn’t that long ago she was on trial for stabbing her stalker Leo in self-defence.
Now it looks like she has started to fall for her solicitor Gray, whose performance in court saved her from a prison sentence.

8. Linda’s “date” with Max
Despite being warned to steer clear of loverman Max by her bestie Sharon, lonely Linda arranges a play date with Max for Abi and Ollie.
Max seems genuinely impressed with Linda’s business ideas and reckons she could be in with a chance to get some charity funding from the Lucy Beale Foundation.
With Linda’s husband Mick currently in a strange mood and clearly trying to avoid her, will Linda be tempted by the charms of the smooth-talking businessman?
9. Mick confides in Katy
Mick is still struggling to cope with the shock revelations that have turned his world upside down.
But instead of confiding in his nearest and dearest, Mick turns to his former social worker Katy for guidance. Viewers know that Katy sexually abused 12-year-old Mick while he was in care. Will she continue to spin the truth about what really happened between them?
