Emmerdale appeared to drop its biggest clue yet as to who could be poisoning Kim Tate – then again it could be a whole other twist altogether.
After recent speculation it could be either Andrea Tate, Gabby Thomas, Dawn Taylor or her father Will Taylor, Wednesday’s episode dropped a huge hint over who was out to get her.
Pregnant Gabby is now the prime suspect according to some viewers, after her repeated concern for Kim, the grandmother of her unborn baby, fell under suspicion.
As Kim has continued to pass out and act out of character, from slurring speech to forgetfulness, she’s grown concerned over what is happening to her.
She has no idea that the brandy she has been drinking amid her discomfort and concern has been spiked, with a mystery culprit seen pouring a white powder into it recently.
On Tuesday, fans suspected Gabby was up to no good as she fiercely defended Kim against Andrea, and refused to leave her side.
Kim quickly told her she had learned she could rely on the teen, making her her closest confidant.
But on Wednesday, it quickly seemed as though Gabby was actually working against Kim and possibly after her fortune – while it’s not clear if this plot and the poisoning plot are linked.
Rich Kim was worried that son Jamie’s new lover Dawn wasn’t really into him, and was simply trying to fleece him.
Gabby, who is carrying Jamie’s baby, is trying to split the couple up too – and she seemed desperate for Kim to help her.
Kim made a comment though that Gabby later appeared to take literally, majorly hinting she was plotting against Kim.

The character had told her that she needed to “take as much as she could” from people, as no one would give her anything in this life.
She also told her she was “on her own” in whatever she was planning for Dawn.
Towards the end of the episode Kim felt drowsy again and while drinking more brandy, she slowly drifted off on the sofa.
She failed to even notice Gabby on the worktop behind her casually signing into her laptop, before her plot was seemingly exposed.
Having written down Kim’s log-in details for the business money account on a piece of paper, she logged in and grinned as she saw over £100,000 in the account.
But does this mean Gabby is drugging Kim to get her hands on the fortune, or perhaps there’s another reason for her antics?
Maybe she’s trying to set up Dawn, but then again there’s still no confirmation Gabby is actually the one poisoning Kim!
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
