Emmerdale fans pointed out what they thought was a glaring error during Thursday’s double bill as Cain and Moira Dingle were locked in a shed together.
Cain had headed down to the shed and set up a chilling kidnap setting ready for Jamie Tate, complete with a blindfold and duct tape to tie him to a chair.
But thankfully Moira followed him and discovered what he was about to do, and tried to talk him out of it.
Cain was desperate for revenge on Jamie for hurting Belle Dingle so badly, but Moira tried to convince him to let the law deal with him, as Cain would go to prison otherwise.
Moira told her estranged husband that she still cared about him and that she thought he felt the same.
What they did not realise, was Moira’s brother Mackenzie was actually listening in from outside the shed.
He sneakily closed the door on them and locked it from the outside so the pair were trapped in there.
Realising this, Cain hammered on the door furiously and Moira told him there was no point as they could not escape.
But viewers were quick to point out they were in a tool shed with all manner of equipment that could have been used to help them get out, including a crowbar.
One tweeted: “All those tools cain has like a crowbar but cannot open a wooden gate. I’m off to bed…. night”.
Another remarked: “Cain Dingle in a barn, with tools and a bag of assorted weapons, can’t get out of wooden doors”.
“I’m sure that crowbar would easily break down the flimsy shed door,” pointed out a third.
But fans rejoiced when Cain finally confessed to Moira that he did still love her.
Will they call off the divorce?
