Emmerdales Leanna death plot features mistake, say viewers – digitalspy.com

Emmerdale fans believe there’s a clear blunder with the ongoing Leanna Cavanagh death plot.

In last week’s stunning scenes, ‘Dales villain Meena Jutla murdered poor Leanna when she discovered the truth about the death of her old friend Nadine.

But, given that Meena ripped Leanna’s hair out and her DNA was all over her clothes, could police be missing key evidence that proves Meena killed her? Viewers seem to think so.

Then again, Leanna would have come into close contact with various villagers that day, so we can’t be completely sure that it’s a mistake on the soap’s part.

“I’m watching last nights Emmerdale and I’m like ?? How did the police find NO traces of Meena’s DNA on Leanna’s clothes ?? [sic] ” tweeted one person.

“Has DNA not reached Emmerdale yet? meany Meenas DNA will be on Leannas clothes, hands and of course the hair she grabbed when falling, I think the Soap Police should be informed how incompetent the Emmerdale cops are,” read another message.

Lastly, another viewer went on to point out: “So Leanna would of had a fist full of dark hair after grabbing Meena, also i’m sure toxicology takes longer than 24 hours…and where is Liam’s liaison officer? The man is wandering around asking the questions that the police should be. Makes no sense…”

Of course, soap bosses may already be aware of these supposed gaps in the investigation and they could well be referenced in future episodes.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
