Emmerdale spoilers follow.
It seems like Emmerdale‘s Jacob Gallagher has seen right through Meena Jutla’s manipulating ways – and he might just pay for it.
In tonight’s (July 5) episode, Meena offered to pay Jacob’s (Joe-Warren Plant) airfare so he can go off travelling with girlfriend Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) to try and get rid of him.
Jacob played along with Meena’s (Paige Sandhu) games, but then when the pair of them were with David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and she mentioned the travelling, Jacob lied and said he didn’t know where Meena got it from.
David left the pair of them in the shop and Meena put on a rather terrifying smile, while asking him: “Thanks for that, Jacob. Are you trying to make me look stupid?”
Jacob replied with a smug smile. However, he was left wondering what she was capable of following a rather threatening chat, after he compared her manipulating ways to how Maya treated him and telling her that everything was “just an act” with her.
“Honestly, I don’t know where this hostility is coming from, I was just trying to help you out.”
He explained he could see through her behaviour and that he knew that by the way she treated him and everyone David cares about, that she was just trying to get rid of him so she could have David all to herself.
Then, he changed the subject, asking her how she could afford to pay for his ticket, before accusing her of stealing the Pride money, which she completely denied.
“I thought we sorted this out, I thought we were good now?” she told him, before the pair were briefly interrupted by David.
“I see you didn’t mention your doubts about me?” she said once David was out of earshot.
Jacob explained that he was just biding his time and he was sure his dad would see through her anyway.
“Can I give you some friendly advice?” she asked very nicely. “I’m very loyal to people who put their trust in me, but as an enemy, well, you really don’t want to go there.”
Emmerdale airs on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on ITV. All of the episodes are available to watch now on the ITV Hub.
