Friends star Matthew Perry has confirmed that he has called off his engagement to fiancée Molly Hurwitz after seven months.
Perry proposed to Hurwitz in November 2020 and they were together for nearly three years.
Speaking briefly in a statement (via People), the actor confirmed the end of his relationship with Hurwitz, adding that he wished her the best.
“Sometimes things just don’t work out and this is one of them, I wish Molly the best,” Perry explained in the statement.
The sad news comes days after the highly-anticipated Friends: The Reunion – the one-off special saw Perry reunited with his former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.

While on set, the cast shared some of their favourite memories, they also did table reads of some of the most iconic scenes from Friends.
British TV host James Corden also sat down with the cast for an interview and introduced some of the unforgettable guest stars that appeared on the show.
