Harry Potter actor Tom Felton has said that he would “abso-bloody-lutely” return to the wizarding world if the chance arose.
Despite appearing in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and the Arrowverse, Felton is still best known for his turn as Draco Malfoy – the pale-haired brat belonging to House Slytherin and forever a thorn in Harry’s side.
It’s been a whole decade since final instalment The Deathly Hallows: Part 2 came out, but that doesn’t mean he’s done with the franchise.
Asked by People if he’d consider returning to the series in the future, Felton shared: “If you’re asking me will I dye my hair blonde again to be Draco, abso-bloody-lutely.
“Either [him or Lucius Malfoy]. I’ll play Draco’s kid [Scorpius] if you really want! Any chance to be a Malfoy again would be greatly accepted.”
The 33-year-old then went on to admit he feels “a bit of ownership” over his character, adding: “I do feel if someone else played [Draco], I’d be slightly possessive, going, ‘Hang on…'”
In other news, the first-ever Harry Potter-themed store opened its doors in New York City last week, offering all manner of magical treats and gifts.
A message to customers previously read: “We won’t require a negative test or vaccine [to enter]. We’ll be following all CDC guidelines and operating with a reduced capacity to encourage physical distancing.”
