I’m A Celebrity 2020: ‘Probably did it so he had a night off!’ Viewers claim the show was ‘FIXED’ to give Jordan North a break from trials… after some fans were unable to vote on the app

I’m A Celebrity 2020 viewers have suggested the show was ‘fixed’ to give Jordan North a break from trials after some people were unable to vote on the app.

Furious fans of the ITV show took to social media in their droves to complain that they were unable to vote via the I’m A Celeb app for five of the ten minutes allocated, on Thursday evening.

At 10pm, Ant and Dec announced that the vote for the next challenge was open, and would close at 10.10pm, but many viewers were unable to make their selection.

While some were finally able to cast their votes after refreshing the app for five minutes, others were unable to vote at all.

Ultimately, Ant and Dec went on to reveal that for the first time this season, it wasn’t Jordan selected by the public to take on the next trail, but Mo Farah instead.

Taking to Twitter, viewers asked: ‘What’s going on?’ as they attempted to vote for a celebrity to take on the next trial.

Some fans of the show even joked that Jordan North – who has done every voted-for challenge to date – had hacked the app so that he wouldn’t be voted for again, or that producers ‘blocked’ votes for that purpose.

One tweeted: ‘Jordan secretly hacked into the app so no one could vote for him again.’

Mocking Donald Trump, one fan of the show tweeted: ‘The #ImACeleb voting app failed. I couldn’t vote. This is a RIGGED election. An open and shut case of voter fraud. Massive numbers!’

‘Wondering if the ITV producers ‘broke’ the app on purpose so people couldn’t vote for Jordan??’ quizzed one suspicious viewer.

‘Legit blocked the vote app so we couldn’t pick Jordan again,’ tweeted another.

‘Only reason it wasn’t Jordan because none of us could vote,’ added someone else.

Even celebrity viewers questioned what had happened, with Love Island’s Amy Hart tweeting: ‘They’ve obviously waited til after the trial to open the vote in the hope we’ll vote for someone else! 5 for Mo for me! He makes me die!’

AJ Pritchard’s brother Curtis also chimed into the drama, revealing that he’d been unable to get through on the phone to vote.

He tweeted: ‘Does it say closed to anyone ells who is calling the voting lines for?’ before adding: ‘I couldn’t get through on the phone it said closed the whole time.’
