Pregnant Love Island star Dani Dyer “will be a brilliant mum”, her ex Jack Fincham said as he addressed her baby joy.
Dani announced her pregnancy in July, with her and partner Sammy Kimmence expecting their first child together.
Jack and Dani remained together after leaving the ITV2 series in summer 2018, where they met and found love, but they split in April the following year.
Earlier this year Jack became a father for the first time, as he welcomed a baby daughter named Blossom.
Now, EastEnders star Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani is preparing for motherhood and she showed off her blossoming baby bump during a Love Island spin-off on Wednesday night.
The show, What Happened Next, follows different islanders from the past series of the show and reveals what they have been up to since leaving the villa.
Both Dani and Jack also featured, but in separate catch-ups.
Dani had a mini baby shower with her former villa girls, including Megan and Zara.
She spoke of her past romance with Jack, before discussing her pregnancy and becoming a mum.
Jack, meanwhile, met up with their former co-stars Alex and Laura Anderson.
Asked about Dani’s baby joy, he said she would be a great mother and wished her all the best.
He said: “Yeah, I’m so happy for her. She’ll make a brilliant mum as well.”
On their split, he added: “Living in that villa, it’s like you are in a goldfish bowl ain’t it, and then real life hits you and you find out you’re not compatible.”
Love Island’s spin-off show concludes at 9pm on ITV2 on Thursday.
