The trailer opens in Reunion with Jeremy, James and Richard driving on the world’s most expensive piece of tarmac, which is a ring road that has been built in the sea.

Driving side-by-side in their sports cars, Richard tells his co-stars: ‘I was just thinking this incredibly expensive stretch of road could serve a useful purpose.’

Agreeing with Richard, the trio put their pedal to the metal as they race each other along the smooth stretch of road, before heading to the island of Madagascar.

After their delightful trip, the trio think they have an easy ride ahead of them but get a surprise when they’re given a map and asked ‘to crack the code and find the loot.’

Richard gushed in glee, as he said: ‘Oh we’re hunting for pirate’s gold!’

Despite their enthusiasm, the roads in Madagascar were clearly very tough as their sports cars were put through their paces.

One such incident saw James’ drive his car through a muddy puddle, and as it had an open frame it meant he was absolutely drenched while doing so.

James claimed the roads were ‘terrible’ in Madagascar, so Jeremy suggested they modify their cars to handle the tough terrains.

Richard went all out with his car as he decided to use a caterpillar track instead of standard wheels, while Jeremy added pipes along the sides, and James’ buggy car was fitted with bigger wheels and bright lights.

Looking at Richard’s car, James joked that ‘he’s uninvented the wheel’ as they tested out their cars, with the former heading out onto a beach and declaring his car was ‘unstoppable’ before one of the tracks broke.

In an explosive finale, the trio struggle with an array of problems like being stuck in a hole in the road and trying to traverse rocky terrain.

But then, as they head out onto the beach, Jeremy shouts to the others to ‘go’ as they drive away whilst explosives go off behind them.
