Tammy and Jim’s program — The Jim and Tammy Show (also known as PTL Club) was a Christian TV program that ran from 1974 to 1989.

It later became known as both PTL Today and Heritage Today and adopted more of a talk show style format in its later years.

Jim was also well known as the host of the 700 Club — a long running talk show which evolved from a religious talk program — that became one of the leading programs on the Christian Broadcast Network.

He was later alleged to have a few same-sex relationships and amid the scandal another televangelist Jerry Falwell was tapped to run the ministry.
