Joe Wicks cringed at himself as he revealed he did in fact fart during one of his live PE lessons earlier this week, which was broadcast to the nation.
The fitness fanatic, 34, has been keeping his fans fit during the third coronavirus lockdown, and on Wednesday viewers were left suspicious when they heard a strange noise coming from his camera, just moments before the workout went live.
After the hilarious gaffe, his good pal and former TOWIE star Mark Wright brought up the mishap during his live radio show on Heart.
Joe said: “I can’t believe we’re having this conversation, I know what you’re going to ask me already. Go on what is it?”
Mark replied: “Let’s just talk about some kind of noise that happened to, how many people…?”
Joe laughed back: “I’m so embarrassed by what’s happened. Basically, I filmed my first PE with Joe yesterday, live at 9am, right?
“I pressed the live button just on my YouTube stream, and just before, I’m talking 20 seconds before, something slipped out Mark… and you can guess what it will be Mark…”
The reality star interrupted: “How did it happen Joe? Because I’m looking at it, you’re so professional with your [YouTube] lives and stuff, you’re incredible with what you do, but how did you make the mistake?
“Did you already press ‘live’ and you didn’t know you was live? What went wrong?”
“Listen, 800,000 people have seen that video. I didn’t know,” Joe confessed.
“When you go live, you press live and there’s about a 20-second delay but for some reason the link had opened and it was buffering and it basically got the sound.
“So I’ve let out this giant – honestly, the longest – ripper I’ve ever let out in my life.”
The Body Coach, who is well-known for his Lean in 15 series, added that he didn’t know about the awkward gaffe until he saw an article emerge online.
But Joe laughed it off and has since gone back and edited the sound out of his video, which is available on his YouTube channel.
He told Mark: “I tell you what, some of the comments are hilarious! I’ve got to be honest, I’ve gone back to the video and got my mate to edit it out because I can’t have that living on there forever.”
Joe is helping out the nation and recently resumed his live workouts after the UK went back into a lockdown earlier this month.
Previously, he has raised a whopping £580,000 for the NHS through ad-sense from his last series of live workouts in July.
