Love Island aired a savage dumping on Thursday night, as bombshell Georgia Townend was kicked out of the villa after finding herself single in the latest recoupling.

The bombshell had her eyes on Hugo Hammond, with viewers tipping him to finally find love on the show after weeks of being pied.

That was until he likened himself to a player and suggested he had options between the two new girls – suggesting he was not so keen on the newcomer.

This ultimately led to her show exit, as he did not pick her as predicted in the latest and dramatic recoupling.

Instead, he saved Chloe Burrows from the awkward fate after she was ditched by partner Toby in an unexpected and brutal twist.

Toby instead went for new girl Abigail Rawlings leaving his fellow Islanders, and Chloe, reeling – while the couple, who got together a few weeks ago, had been rowing a lot.

Chloe being ditched led to Hugo jumping in to save the day and stop her from being sent home.

Toby was even called out by his villa pal Hugo for his treatment of Chloe as he picked her.

Back to Georgia, and Hugo’s declaration for Chloe meant she was sent packing then and there as Chloe survived for another day at least.

Speaking about her exit, she said she would not change a thing about her time in the villa.

She said: “No, not at all. It was really tricky to go in and only have the one person I was interested in.

“When that didn’t pay off, I knew I was up s*** creek without a paddle. They were all lovely boys but I know what I’m looking for and none of them are it.

“A lot of the couples in there, they’re the right pair for one another, so I would have felt awful, selfish and really unkind if I’d ripped a couple apart if I wasn’t wholly invested.”

Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
