TikTok star Matima Miller has died aged 19 after being shot dead on Monday.
The social media star, who was best known as Swavy and Babyface.s for his dance moves, has been reported as the victim of a shooting on July 5.
Miller has been identified by police in Wilmington, Delaware, who previously announced an investigation into a fatal shooting at 10.42 at Elbert Place.
A 19-year-old male gunshot victim – who was later identified as Miller – had been taken to a hospital but later died of his injuries.
Miller had regularly shared his dance content on TikTok, where he had amassed 2.5million followers and 98million likes.
His fans have since paid tribute to the teenager as one of his closest friends, Damaury Mikula, confirmed that he had died on Monday, according to HITC.
Mikula shared a YouTube video in tribute to his friend called ‘Rest up Bro’ in which he revealed that Miller had been shot.
He said: “He got shot and I just want to let you all know that I’m about to take over for that n*****. All he did was make videos bro. He is real as hell.
“I know you up there looking down.”
Another friend of Miller’s, called Destiny, also paid tribute on Instagram.
Sharing photos of herself with Miller, she wrote: “I love you sm to the moon and back.
“I just need a hug from you one more time.”
