Sophie Turner made a cryptic post amid reports that Taylor Swift’s new song is about her husband Joe Jonas.
Taylor has released an old song called Mr Perfectly Fine, which her fans believe is written about her relationship with the Jonas Brothers star.
Now Sophie has called the song a “bop” in a post she shared with her 15 million Instagram followers on her Stories on Wednesday night.
Taylor and Joe dated in 2008 when they were both teenagers and she wrote several songs about their brief romance.
Mr Perfectly Fine is a song she released from her ‘Vault’, a collection of old songs from her past that she didn’t put on her albums.
It has gone on her new version of Fearless, and was likely written around the time her relationship with Joe came to an end.
A track that made the original album, Forever and Always, was about Joe, and fans have noticed the cryptic clues that suggest Mr Perfectly Fine also details their romance.
The lyrics say: “How’s your heart after breaking mine?/Mr always at the right place at the right time, baby.
“Hello, Mr casually cruel/Mr everything revolves around you
“I’ve been Miss misery since your goodbye/And you’re Mr perfectly fine.”
Despite the rumoured references to her husband, Sophie, who married Joe in 2019 and shares a nine-month-old daughter, Willa, with him, seemed to like the song.
She shared a screenshot of the song playing from her Spotify account, adding the caption: “It’s not NOT a bop.”
Taylor took Sophie’s post as a compliment and shared it on her own Instagram Stories on Wednesday,
Making a reference to Sophie’s Game Of Thrones character Sansa Stark, she wrote: “Forever bending the knee for the [queen] of the north.”
Taylor has been rerecording her old songs and her first six albums after Scooter Braun bought her entire music catalog out from underneath of her and then sold it without her knowledge.
Each new version of the songs has the old title but is also called “Taylor’s Version”.
She is also releasing songs from her “Vault” that were never on her early albums.
